There is alot to learn when you are new to hooping! The first thing people always want to know is why do you hula hoop? There are a multitude of reasons, so here are a few! Exercise- Hooping for 10 minutes can burn up to 100 calories. Parties- All ages can participate in a hula hoop contest! Dance- Hula hoops can be used as a prop in many different forms of dance. Therapeutic- Some people use hooping as a healing therapy just like yoga. Fun- Hula hooping is just plain fun! How many more reasons to hula hoop can you think of?
